CVE PATA is...

Castro Valley Elementary Parents and Teachers Association (CVE PATA) is a community of parents, teachers, grandparents, and other interested members of the Castro Valley community that want to participate in our children’s education at CVE.

When Do We Meet?

CVE PATA meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30-7:30pm. We’d typically meet in person, but since COVID we’ve been meeting virtually via Zoom. See the homepage or your email for the meeting login info.

What Do Members Do?

Members can be as involved as they want to be – from simply attending meetings, to volunteering at an event, to helping out behind the scenes – there are a number of ways to get involved! It’s a great way to get involved in your child’s learning environment and help support our amazing teachers.

Examples of How We've Helped CVE

We’re proud to have helped with:

  • Reimbursing almost 100% of our teachers’ classroom expenses
  • Running the Halloween Carnival
  • Refreshing the teachers’ lounge
  • Participating in the Light Parade
  • Participating in the Walk-a-Thon
  • Creating our CVE Yearbook
  • And more…
